Position Overview: As the Group Medical Director, you will supervise our operations across multiple locations. You will collaborate closely with our operations and medical leaders to enhance the success and growth of our teams. We are looking for an exceptional veterinarian who:

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the development, implementation, and management of essential medical services
• Advise on policies and procedures to optimize clinical operations and staff efficiency
• Ensure exemplary delivery of clinical services to enhance client experience
• Build and maintain strategic clinical relationships with the referring veterinary community
• Address client medical issues and provide mentoring and coaching
• Supervise the clinical team, monitoring training, continuing education, and development
• Evaluate the performance of technical staff members
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory standards
• Recommend enhancements for clinical procedures and policies
• Clearly define and communicate duties, responsibilities, authority, and accountability
• Monitor medical quality and report findings to senior management

Qualifications:
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an accredited institution
• Board certification in medical oncology, radiology, or radiation oncology (DACVIM-O, DACVR, or DACVR-RO)
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant clinical, scientific, or industry experience, ideally within a high-volume setting
• Ability to become licensed to practice in Virginia
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a diplomatic demeanor
• Willingness to travel to different locations weekly or biweekly
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
• Innovative thinker with a focus on continuous improvement

Schedule:
• 4-day work week with dedicated administrative time for leadership responsibilities
• No nights or weekends required
