Job Title:Graduate Medical Education Manager - Radiation Oncology
Department:Medicine | Radiation Oncology
The Graduate Medical Education (GME) Manager 1 within the Department of Radiation Oncology, oversees the daily operations, accreditation activities, and administrative functions of residency, fellowship, graduate, and medical student training programs to ensure high‑quality educational experiences and full compliance with accrediting and regulatory requirements. The role supports program leadership in maintaining educational standards, compliance, and program accreditation; managing program evaluations, reviews, and site visits; plans, oversees, and coordinates recruitment, onboarding and orientation; tracks trainee progress, evaluation, and graduation requirements. In partnership with Department Finance Manager and Education Program Director, develops and manages annual program budget; monitors, reviews, and authorizes expenses related to the program’s recruitment and activities; maintains reporting and budget processes.
Working with guidance from departmental and GME leadership, the GME Manager plans and monitors short‑term and long-term goals, ensures operational efficiency, and contributes to program performance while collaborating with peers and faculty to resolve routine matters and support the mission and strategic direction of the health sciences enterprise. Provides training and workflow oversight and administers policies and procedures within the program. This position hires, trains, coaches, and supervises GME administrative staff and University Graduate Program staff. Provides support to staff within the International Training Center for Radiation Oncology.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 3 years of relevant experience required. 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred.
