Controller to take ownership of their accounting function in New York.





This is a high-impact opportunity to join a rapidly scaling software business at an exciting stage of growth. Working closely with the CFO the Controller will take ownership of the company's accounting operations while helping build the infrastructure, controls and processes required to support the next phase of expansion.





Ideal Profile


- 7–10+ years’ accounting experience, ideally Big 4/public accounting plus high-growth SaaS/software
- CPA qualified
- Previous Controller, Assistant Controller or senior accounting leadership experience in SaaS
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, technical accounting and ASC 606
- Proven ownership of month-end close, reporting, revenue recognition, controls and audits
- Experience building and scaling accounting processes in high-growth environments
- ERP implementation/optimization experience; NetSuite highly desirable
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets and analytical skills
- Experience partnering with CFOs and senior leadership
- Previous people management experience
- Commercially minded, hands-on and comfortable operating strategically while staying close to the detail
- Strong communicator with the ability to challenge, influence and provide financial insight
