Experteer Overview
In this role, you lead the global medical strategy for RayzeBio’s radiopharmaceutical assets, shaping evidence generation and medical communications. You will collaborate with R&D, Commercial, Access, and Corporate Communications to align medical plans with portfolio goals and support launches. You’ll provide scientific leadership across a matrix team, engage with thought leaders and patient groups, and drive cross-functional execution to advance cancer therapies. This is an opportunity to shape strategic medical direction at a growing biotech on the frontier of radiopharmaceuticals.
Compensation / Benefits
• Shape pipeline and portfolio strategies with cross-functional partners to align medical plans with portfolio objectives
• Support launch planning in partnership with medical affairs and commercial teams
• Provide scientific input to trial design, strategy, and recruitment with clinical development and study execution teams
• Develop the integrated medical evidence plan for early pipeline assets (therapeutic and diagnostic)
• Lead medical communications through publications, congress plans, advisory boards, and KOL engagement
• Guide medical positioning, field medical engagement, and external education as medical leadership within the matrix
• Engage external thought leaders, medical organizations, and patient advocacy groups to maintain scientific credibility
• Mentor and develop medical staff within a matrixed environment
• Leverage AI to improve program, portfolio, or function performance through prioritization and scaling
Tasks
• MD, DO, PharmD, or PhD (or equivalent)
• 5-7 years in medical affairs in oncology/pharma; radiopharmaceuticals experience preferred
• Ability to collaborate with clinical development, corporate communications, and commercial teams to provide medical leadership
• Experience building and executing global medical strategy including medical evidence generation and scientific communications
• Proven ability to lead a global cross-functional medical matrix team to execute global/US strategy
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management with senior leadership and global scientific community
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, strategic thinking, business acumen, and execution skills
