• Practice in Weirton, West Virginia

• WVU Cancer Institute provides care to more than 125,000 patients each year

• Department of Medical Oncology includes more than 75 physicians and advanced practice professionals at 15 practice sites across our multi-state network

• Weirton Medical Center is an acute care, 240-bed institution (187 acute care beds, 20 adult psychiatric beds, and 33 skilled care beds) serving the Northern panhandle of West Virginia, Eastern Ohio, and suburbs of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

• Medical/dental staff is comprised of some 170 physicians with board-certified physicians in the medical and surgical subspecialities

• WMC employs more than 1,000 people

• Actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows

Requirements

• Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent

• Eligible for state medical license

• Completed Internal Medicine residency program

• Completed Hematology/Oncology fellowship program

• Board certified / eligible in Hematology/Oncology

• All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment

• J-1 or H-1B visas accepted
