Functional Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Are you an NP or PA who wants to practice medicine differently?

STAT Wellness is looking for a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Nashville functional medicine team.

We’re looking for a clinician who is curious, relationship-driven, and passionate about helping patients understand the why behind their health concerns—not simply managing symptoms.

Functional or integrative medicine experience is preferred, but it is not required. If you’re an excellent clinician with a strong interest in functional medicine, metabolic health, longevity, hormones, gut health, and lifestyle medicine, we want to hear from you.

What makes this role different

We don't expect you to walk in on day one knowing functional medicine.

Every new provider completes an 8-week clinical residency and onboarding program that includes:
• Extensive shadowing with experienced functional medicine providers
• Structured didactic education
• Patient case studies
• Functional lab interpretation
• Clinical decision-making and treatment planning
• Gradual transition into independent patient care
• Ongoing mentorship and collaboration after residency

Our goal is to give you the foundation and confidence to become an exceptional functional medicine clinician.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $120,000–$140,000, depending on experience

You may already have functional medicine experience—or you may be an excellent conventional clinician who knows there has to be a better way to practice.

More important than having a specific certification is being curious, coachable, clinically strong, and passionate about helping patients improve their health.

What you'll do

You'll work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to evaluate and manage patients with concerns such as:
• Cardiometabolic dysfunction
• Insulin resistance and weight management
• Hormone optimization
• Thyroid concerns
• Gastrointestinal dysfunction
• Chronic fatigue
• Inflammation and immune dysfunction
• Nutrient deficiencies
• Women's and men's health
• Preventive medicine and longevity

You'll have access to advanced laboratory testing, Registered Dietitian support, health coaching, and a team of clinicians who genuinely enjoy collaborating on complex cases.
