Job Description
Role: Provides direct patient care in an oncology unit, utilizing top-of-scope nursing practices and evidence-based care models. Collaborates within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes, prioritizing wellness and safety. Models proficiency by precepting new healthcare staff and embraces continuous learning in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities: Administers chemotherapy and immunotherapy, maintains safety standards, and contributes to quality improvement efforts. Supports specialty acute care units with moderate to high patient acuity, ensuring secure and compassionate care.
Qualifications & Skills: Requires RN licensure, a minimum of 6 months nursing experience, and BLS certification. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing and chemotherapy/ONS certification within a year of hire. Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills are essential.
