Job Description
Albany Medical College is excited to invite applications for a full-time Palliative Medicine Specialist to join our hospital-based adult consult service. This position offers a remarkable work-life balance with no on-call requirements and no weekend shifts!
Our current palliative care team consists of two Nurse Practitioners and one physician, supported by chaplaincy and psychology services. As a busy consult service, this role also includes opportunities for teaching and supervision of residents and medical students, engaging in didactic sessions, and collaborating closely with the Geriatrics team.
We offer a competitive salary range of $225,000 to $250,000, with salary and rank commensurate with experience.
