Job Summary: As an RN Clinical Nurse, you will be a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team dedicated to providing high-quality, individualized patient care. Your practice will reflect the values and standards outlined in the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act, and you will be supported by Nurse Managers and other leaders through the Wellstar Shared Governance Model. It's vital that you take an active role in upholding patient, system policies, and service excellence goals.
Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
• Exemplary Practice and Outcomes: Utilize the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation) to deliver individualized care. Collaborate effectively with patients and families to ensure care meets their specific cultural and personal needs.
• Teamwork and Collaboration: Coordinate and document safe patient care by fostering respectful interdisciplinary communication. Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance quality and safety across all levels.
• Professional Development and Initiative: Complete all required competency assessments and mandatory education, while mentoring other nurses and students to cultivate a thriving workforce.
• Evidence-Based Practice and Research: Advocate for evidence-based nursing practices and contribute to research efforts that enhance patient care and outcomes.
• Resources and Support: Plan proactively for patient care across the continuum, developing protocols and collaborating with care managers to ensure best practices are followed.

Required Minimum Education:
• Associate's Nursing Degree or Diploma (Nursing) required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s):
• Registered Nurse (Single State) or Multi-State Compact RN License
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
Required Minimum Experience:
A minimum of 2 years of direct patient care nursing experience is required.
Required Minimum Skills:
• Strong English language proficiency, both written and verbal
• Ability to effectively utilize technology in clinical situations
• Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while responding to emergencies decisively and respectfully
• Strong time management and critical thinking skills
