Mindful Retreat Mental Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team in a full-time capacity. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct intake assessments and develop individualized therapeutic plans to address clients' needs, ensuring each approach is tailored to their unique circumstances.
- Facilitate therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families, utilizing diverse therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), emotionally focused therapy (EFT), and mindfulness-based strategies.
- Monitor and document client progress meticulously using our electronic health record (EHR) system to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss cases, share insights, and create strategies that enhance client care.
- Offer crisis intervention support when necessary, ensuring clients receive immediate assistance in high-stress situations.
Patient Population / Client Focus
As an LMFT at Mindful Retreat, you will be working with a diverse client population, including individuals, couples, and families struggling with a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, trauma, and life transitions. Our goal is to empower clients by promoting personal growth and fostering healing through meaningful therapeutic relationships.
Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution is mandatory.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Washington is required.
- Proficiency in conducting thorough diagnostic assessments and formulating effective treatment plans is essential.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are crucial for establishing rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Commitment to maintaining cultural competence and practicing social justice within the therapy framework is expected.
Preferred Experience
- A minimum of two (2) years of post-licensure experience providing clinical social work services, preferably in an outpatient or community mental health setting.
- Background in family systems theory and experience working with relational dynamics in therapy.
- Familiarity with telehealth practices and proficiency in using digital therapeutic tools and platforms.
Compensation and Benefits
