Full-Time Day Shift Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct nuclear medicine imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and safety protocols.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals while maintaining comprehensive documentation.
• Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot gamma cameras and related imaging systems.
• Monitor patient well-being before, during, and after imaging procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Ensure adherence to radiation safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and care teams to support clinical decisions.
• Maintain quality control records and support accreditation processes.
• Provide compassionate, faith-aligned patient care and education.

Required Skills:
• Proficient in nuclear medicine imaging techniques.
• Expertise in radiopharmaceutical preparation and administration.
• Skilled in operating gamma cameras and SPECT/CT systems.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and ALARA principles.
• Ability to monitor and care for patients during imaging procedures.
• Experience in quality control and equipment calibration.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record documentation.
• Understanding of regulatory and accreditation compliance (e.g., NRC, state).
• Competence in venipuncture and IV access.
• Familiarity with cross-sectional anatomy and pathology recognition.
