QUALIFICATIONS Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program, master's degree in nursing or post-masters nurse practitioner certificate program Current license/registration to practice in the state of Florida, prescriptive privileges or eligible to apply Certification from American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), or the Oncology Nurses Certification Corporation (ONCC) Must be BLS certified.
Fluency in the English language with verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively to diverse populations, including physicians, employees, patients and families is also required.
Analytical skills are necessary to evaluate patients' status, health care procedure / techniques and to monitor quality of patient care. - Valid Florida drivers license for travel to clinics - Must have clear driving record and appropriate levels of auto coverage.
SCREENINGS - Background, drug, and nicotine screens Safeguarding our patients and each other is an important part of how we deliver the best care possible to the communities we serve.
Additionally, as a condition of employment, FCS requires all new hires to receive various vaccinations, including the influenza vaccine, barring an approved exemption.
