Job Description
NEWTRO is a private, physician-led radiation oncology group serving the Northeast Wisconsin region in close partnership with Froedtert/ThedaCare North and Bellin Health. Our model emphasizes multidisciplinary integration, disease-oriented teams, Centers of Excellence development, and advanced technology deployment across breast, lung, GI, GU, CNS, and hematologic malignancies.
We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing team and become an integral member of our multidisciplinary oncology program.

This role offers a unique opportunity to develop specialized expertise in Radiation Oncology while practicing within a collaborative team environment that values clinical autonomy, professional growth, and innovation.The Advanced Practice Clinician will work closely with Radiation Oncologists, Medical Oncologists, Surgical Oncologists, Radiologists, Palliative Care specialists, Oncology Navigation, and Clinical Research teams to deliver comprehensive cancer care across the continuum of treatment.
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and symptom assessments
Perform routine and urgent on-treatment visits for patients receiving radiation therapy
Manage treatment-related toxicities and supportive care needs
Provide survivorship and long-term follow-up care for cancer patients
Evaluate and manage radiation-related complications and late effects
Coordinate multidisciplinary oncology care
Support same-day evaluations and urgent symptom management
Participate in tumor boards, quality initiatives, and program development
Support clinical research and educational activities
Ensure accurate documentation and billing compliance
Qualifications:Minimum two years of oncology, radiation oncology, hematology/oncology, neurosurgery, palliative care, or related specialty experience
