Mix Talent is proud to support an innovative, global biopharmaceutical company in hiring an Executive Medical Director for Global Medical Affairs. This highvisibility, senior leadership role shapes and drives the global medical affairs strategy for a firstinclass specialty biologic entering multiple new indications.
This individual will lead worldwide medical strategy, evidence generation planning, scientific communication, and thoughtleader engagement for a rapidly expanding dermatology and immunology portfolio. The role requires deep scientific acumen, strong leadership presence, and proven expertise launching biologics on a global scale.
What Youll Lead
• Build and execute a global medical affairs launch and lifecycle strategy for a breakthrough biologic across multiple disease areas.
• Serve as the medical affairs lead on global crossfunctional core teams, partnering closely with clinical development, commercial, HEOR/RWE, research, and market access functions.
• Develop and implement global medical strategic and tactical plans aligned with broader product and diseasearea objectives.
• Serve as a trusted scientific expert and provide strategic input to global commercial planning.
• Lead the identification, engagement, and mapping of global thought leaders; oversee advisory boards and scientific exchange initiatives.
• Build a strong scientific advocacy and medical communication platform, including publication strategies that elevate key scientific narratives worldwide.
• Guide competitive intelligence efforts and integrate insights into ongoing medical strategy.
• Oversee training programs for internal medical and commercial teams, ensuring consistency and scientific excellence.
• Drive evidencegeneration strategy, including natural history studies, realworld evidence planning, and initiatives addressing unmet needs.
• Ensure scientific integrity across sponsored research, grants, compassionate use programs, and medical information activities.
• Collaborate with global affiliates, supporting incountry medical leads and ensuring alignment across regions.
• Manage global medical budgets and routinely assess the effectiveness of medical plans.
What You Bring
• MD, PhD, or PharmD required.
• 10+ years of experience in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
• Launch experience with at least one biologic required.
• Deep dermatology or immunology expertise strongly preferred.
• Experience working with rare diseases considered an asset.
• Proven success collaborating within complex, matrixed global organizations.
• Strong familiarity with all phases of drug development and lifecycle management.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain a global KOL network.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill and present scientific data effectively.
• Fluent in English.
