About The Role

The Company is seeking a Senior Disease Area Lead for Global Medical Affairs with a focus on solid tumors. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and execution of global medical affairs plans, data generation strategies, and will play a key role in the clinical development of solid tumor programs. This includes representing medical affairs in early and clinical development team meetings, leading scientific communication and publication strategies, and building strong relationships with key opinion leaders and institutions globally. The role requires an advanced degree in a relevant field, extensive experience in pharma/biotech, and a strong background in clinical solid tumor oncology. The ideal candidate will have a strategic leadership approach, be results-driven, and possess exceptional collaboration and communication skills. Applicants for this role at the company should have an advanced degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent) with subspecialty training in oncology, and a minimum of 8 years' experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry, particularly in the area of solid tumors. A background in clinical development, including experience as a medical director or clinical scientist, is strongly preferred. The role demands a high level of expertise in global clinical study design, drug development processes, and a deep understanding of GCP and ICH guidelines. The candidate must be a strategic leader, capable of influencing and leading cross-functional teams, and be adept at problem-solving and risk mitigation.
