Location: Remote, PST preferred - [California, Nevada, Oregaon, and Washington]
Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented, highly organized Event Content & Speaker Management Specialist to join us as a contractor. In this role, you will be the coordinator behind the scenes, ensuring our event content is flawless, our speakers are fully prepared, and our sessions run without a hitch.If you love spreadsheets, have a knack for keeping track of moving pieces, and enjoy working in the fast-paced world of events and tradeshows, you’ll fit right in.
Scope
- Support for .NEXT Core Content Team & a few smaller tradeshows
What We’re Looking For
- Event Experience: Prior experience in event coordination, speaker management, or content operations.
- Organizational Wizardry: You can manage multiple spreadsheets, deadlines, and stakeholders without breaking a sweat.
- Tech Savvy: Comfortable learning event management platforms, mobile app backends, and collaboration tools.
- People Skills: Excellent communication skills; you’ll be interacting with speakers, executives, and external vendors daily.
- Adaptability: A calm-under-pressure attitude when last-minute schedule changes inevitably happen
