City of Hope's growing national system includes its Los Angeles campus, a network of clinical care locations across Southern California, a new cancer center in Orange County, California, and cancer treatment centers and outpatient facilities in the Atlanta, Chicago and Phoenix areas.The successful candidate:Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM, with every other weekend and holiday Environmental Services Technician is a member of the City of Hope Environmental Services team and is responsible for performing established cleaning procedures to provide non-clinical sanitation support throughout assigned hospital areas. This role operates equipment and utilizes appropriate tools, products, and supplies to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing assigned areasCleaning furniture, fixtures, and other common surfacesEmptying trash and disposing of waste appropriatelyMaintaining patient rooms, hallways, offices, and common areasFollowing infection prevention, safety, and environmental standardsSupporting a positive patient and visitor experience through excellent customer service Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred Experience: Healthcare Environmental Services experience preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructionsStrong customer service skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to prioritize tasks and maintain a clean, safe environment City of Hope is an equal opportunity employer.City of Hope employees pay is based on the following criteria: work experience, qualifications, and work note: City of Hope is committed to a safe and transparent hiring experience.
