As a Resident II Registered Nurse, you will be part of a nurturing community of nurse educators, experienced nurses, and fellow residents, all focused on easing your transition from student to professional nurse.

Your role as an RN Resident involves coordinating and delivering exceptional, patient-centered care that meets the specific standards of your department. You’ll work closely with medical providers and other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive and compassionate care, while serving as a patient advocate.

Your Responsibilities Include:
• Assessing patient conditions upon admission and during each shift, promptly reporting any changes in status.
• Performing prescribed procedures and monitoring functions as directed by medical providers.
• Administering medications responsibly and monitoring patients for therapeutic responses.
• Providing timely and thoughtful responses to patient requests, aiming to anticipate and proactively address needs.
• Educating patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, and ensuring they comprehend all instructions.

Qualifications Needed:
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 1 year of employment.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Registered Nurse License or eligibility as a Graduate Nurse in the State.
• No prior experience is necessary.
• Possible travel may be required for training.
