Engraving Operations Assistant

Part-Time $17/hour 10–15 hours per week





Curio Blvd is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Engraving & Operations Assistant to join our small team in New York City.





The primary focus of this role will be personalizing customer orders using our engraving equipment. You’ll help prepare products, operate the engraving machine, inspect completed pieces, and ensure every personalized order meets our quality standards before it is packed and shipped.





Because we’re a small and growing company, this position will also assist with order fulfillment, product preparation, organization, and other projects as needed. The ideal candidate enjoys precise, hands-on work but is also comfortable shifting between responsibilities when priorities change.





What You’ll Work On




Your primary responsibilities will include:


- Operating engraving equipment to personalize customer orders
- Carefully reviewing names, dates, initials, and other personalization details before engraving
- Positioning and aligning products to ensure engravings are centered and consistent
- Preparing artwork, text, and engraving files using provided templates
- Inspecting finished products for accuracy and quality
- Cleaning and maintaining the engraving machine and surrounding workspace
- Tracking personalized orders and communicating any issues or delays
- Preparing, packing, and organizing products for shipment
- Managing engraving supplies, product inventory, and packaging materials
- Assisting with samples, product testing, and new personalization options
- Supporting general operations and other duties as needed






Depending on the team’s needs, you may occasionally help with product organization, creative projects, photoshoots, content preparation, research, or other special initiatives.

Previous experience with engraving, laser equipment, production, fulfillment, personalization, or design software is a highly desirable, but not required. Training will be provided.





This could be a great role for a college student, recent graduate, artist, maker, or someone early in their career who enjoys hands-on creative production and wants experience working with a growing independent brand.

Location: Long Island City; primarily in person

Hours: Approximately 10–15 hours per week

Pay: $17/hour
