As a member of the EA-18G software team you"ll get to develop software to support their Growler Block 1 and Growler Block 2 programs. This position will serve on-site at Naval Air Warfare Center, Point Mugu and their Northrop Grumman Camarillo, CA office.Responsibilities:*Develop embedded real-time system software.*Work in an Agile environment as part of a scrum team.*Resolve software and system defects.*Collaborate with our customer, internal client sites and disciplines.*Participate and contribute to peer reviews, critical milestone reviews, and technical inter-change meetings.Use project dependent tools including:*Rational Clear Case, ClearQuest, DOORS.*Git, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence.*Ada, C/C++, C#, Python.*Green Hills Integrity RTOS, Windows, and Linux. Basic Qualifications for Engineer Software 3:*BS degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 5 years of experience; or MS degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 3 years of experience.*Experience with a higher order language such as Ada, C/C++, C#.*Knowledge of object-oriented software development.*Ability to function as a member of an integrated team.*Experience with version control systems. (e.g. git, Bitbucket, ClearCase, etc.)*US Citizenship required.*DoD Secret Clearance or higher, interim Secret is acceptable.Preferred Qualifications for Engineer Software 3:*Strong verbal communication and customer service skills.*Strong collaborative mindset.*Experience working full software life cycle experience on large scale formal DoD program.*Experience programming with Ada language.*Experience programming with C++ language.*Experience with real-time embedded software development.*Experience working in an Agile environment.*Electronic Warfare system development and design experience.Belcan is an equal opportunity employer.
