Parexel is thrilled to announce a rewarding opportunity within our Biotech Project Leadership team for the role of Director of Project Management. In this key position, you will report directly to the SVP, Head of Biotech Project Leadership Americas. This role is designed for a highly experienced professional at the Director level with a proven track record in overseeing clinical trials, managing client relationships, and fostering team development.
You will be responsible for ensuring the success of clinical trials and programs across various accounts. Your key duties will include:
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with assigned customers.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for resolving internal and external issues.
• Providing operational leadership while being strategically minded to drive new business development.
• Delivering projects on time and within budget while ensuring high-quality outcomes.
To qualify for this role, you should have:
• A minimum of an undergraduate degree in a science or health-related field (an advanced degree is preferred).
• 10-15 years of clinical research experience, including at least 10 years in Project Management focusing on domestic and international oncology studies across various phases.
• A proven ability to lead and develop teams with strong client interaction skills, conflict resolution capability, and expertise in risk management.
• A solid understanding of financial aspects relevant to the industry.
This role also involves:
• Maintaining and enhancing client relationships.
• Participating in business development activities, including proposals and bid defenses.
• Prior experience with a Contract Research Organization (CRO) is preferred.
