MSA Hospice of the Lowcountry, a division of Medical Services of America Inc., is currently seeking an experienced Full-Time Director of Professional Services for our location in Charleston (Charleston) & Ridgeland (Beaufort), SC.
• General oversight of patient care and effective management of utilization of services.
• Coordination of agency functions.
• Oversee/supervise team of clinical and non-clinical staff including full-time & PRN RNs, LPNs, PTs, OTs, and Hospice Aides
Job Requirements
• A Registered Nurse (RN). BSN strongly preferred.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of SC.
• Progressive clinical and management experience in a hospice setting strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years in a MEDICARE CERTIFIED hospice agency setting required.
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of federal/state laws and guidelines pertaining to hospice and Medicare.
• High level management skills needed to be successful in the role as a leader to include conflict management, negotiation, team building, communication and coaching/mentoring others.
