With an expansive global presence and expertise in diverse indications—including novel Immuno-oncology agents and cellular therapies—this is your chance to be part of a dynamic team that is committed to improving cancer therapies for patients in need.
As we embark on significant growth within North America, we are eager to connect with Board-Certified Oncologists who are passionate about advancing clinical research. We particularly encourage those with a subspecialty in Gastroenterology to consider this opportunity.
As a Medical Director at Parexel, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the medical aspects of assigned projects, providing medical consultation to clients and other Parexel teams, and serving as the Senior Technical Lead when necessary.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Reviewing individual adverse event reports for clinical relevance and drug relationship.
• Preparing detailed reports for the FDA and sponsors summarizing adverse experiences as required by regulatory needs.
• Analyzing safety data listings to identify trends and appropriately collaborating with project teams and regulatory bodies.
• Reviewing various documents for safety-related issues across Parexel divisions.
• Ensuring accurate coding of adverse events and concomitant medications for consistency.
• Contributing to the preparation of clinical protocols, summary reports, journal articles, and additional documentation.
• Attending and presenting at internal and external meetings as required.
Qualifications:
• Medical Degree from an accredited institution.
• Board Certification or Fellowship in Oncology (or equivalent training).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in adult oncology.
• Preferred background as a Medical Monitor, Industry Physician, Primary Investigator, or Sub-Investigator.
Successful applicants will also possess:
• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and clients.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities in a professional setting.
• High proficiency in written and spoken English.
• A comfort level working within a matrixed, team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% both domestically and internationally as needed.
Parexel is an equal opportunity employer. We encourage qualified applicants to apply regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
