Damora Therapeutics is an innovative biotechnology company that aims to fundamentally redefine care for people with hematologic disorders. We are advancing a new generation of biologics to treat mutant calreticulin-driven myeloproliferative neoplasms, including essential thrombocythemia and myelofibrosis, where there is significant medical need for new disease-modifying treatments. With multiple programs with best-in-class potential entering clinical development in 2026, our goal is to rapidly bring forward optimized treatments with broad mutation coverage and exceptional convenience to dramatically improve patient outcomes.

This is a unique opportunity to join a science-driven company at a formative stage, where early clinical data will directly shape development strategy and drive long-term value. The right candidate will join a team with significant development experience, with the goal of quickly moving through dose escalation/expansion into pivotal trials.

The Role
As we enter this important growth stage, we are hiring a Director, Medical Science Liaison to cover the Midwest. They will be a foundational hire, reporting to the VP of Medical Affairs and joining a small established team to help build and shape our medical affairs function from the ground up. This is a chance to shape the function from day one, where early KOL and investigator scientific engagement and field insight will directly influence development strategy and long-term growth. You will work closely with executive leadership, operating both strategically and tactically to help guide clinical development, medical strategy, and future commercialization planning. This is an individual contributor role, offering the opportunity to make a deep impact through hands-on expertise rather than people management. Success in this position depends heavily on strong communication skills and the ability to build, deepen, and sustain trusted relationships with HCPs.

As a scientific face of the company, you will cultivate relationships with KOLs and investigators, support early clinical execution, and translate field insights into actionable strategy. At the same time, you will coordinate meetings, support advisory boards, implement tracking systems, and help build the processes needed to scale. Speed, ownership, and adaptability are essential — this role requires someone equally comfortable engaging in high-level scientific dialogue and managing the operational details that drive execution. The role will evolve as the pipeline progresses. Early on, there will be an emphasis on external scientific engagement. It is anticipated that the role will have an evolving mix of KOL engagement and assisting with internal development of the medical affairs function.
