Summary of Position
The Director Market Access will be a hands-on leader responsible for all short and long-term strategies, programs, and tactics associated with Curium’s product portfolio in the US, in collaboration with VP Market Access and our partners. This role will report VP of Market Access and will be a key member of the leadership team. This individual will be responsible for the development, implementation and ongoing assessment of all products and market strategies to secure and maintain optimal market access to Curium products by collaborating with key stakeholders in the US, while ensuring alignment with global strategy.

The Director Market Access will lead cross functional efforts in collaboration with several departments including but not limited to Marketing

• Sales

• Medical Affairs

• Communications and Patient Advocacy

• Legal

• Compliance

• Regulatory; and Curium commercial partners to develop strategies, tactics and programs, in support of establishing and maintaining appropriate access to Curium products with payers, providers, patients, and trade customers. This individual will also be responsible for informing Market Access strategy and analysis for pipeline assets and provide input to budget and staffing needs/requirements.

The candidate must be able to operate as a leader in a fast-paced organization, with high expectations and accountability on quality and timing of the deliverables. Success will require the individual to have relevant oncology, urology, and radiopharmaceutical launch experience both in the diagnostic and theragnostic areas with the ability develop strong cross-functional relationships to effectively influence decision-making across the organization. Essential Functions
• In collaboration with the VP of Market Access build Curium’s US Market Access function, including the establishment of individual roles and teams, all processes, systems, and tools required to successfully launch, establish, and maintain Curium product access.
• Responsible for all US Market Access-related activities and will ultimately recruit, hiring, train, and lead a fully integrated field-based Market Access team.
• Must maintain operational compliance with US and international regulatory agencies and guidelines (i.e. FDA, EU, HC, TGA, PIC/S, ISO, USP, NRC, cGMP, etc.)
• Design and set strategy for the Market Access function to include pricing, contracting, reimbursement, value proposition and messaging, payer & channel management and distribution, patient support services, and field reimbursement support that is reflective of a proactive competitive advantage.
• Lead the development of appropriate programs, tools, and communication materials to effectively address payers' needs to render informed coverage decisions, as well as overall approach to therapeutic class management.
• Ensure the effective deployment of key Market Access field-based roles including but not limited to Field Reimbursement Managers, Payer Account Managers, and Medicare / Medicaid Account Managers; and Trade / GPO Account Managers.
• Reimbursement expertise may include providing in-house US reimbursement expert consultancy to assist key stakeholders in comprehending the reimbursement environment for clinic/office, IDTF, Hospital Outpatient Departments, hospital, and academic centers in the “buy and bill,” and Medicare Part B reimbursed Radiotheranostic and Diagnostic space.
• In collaboration with the VP Market Access development and implement a fully integrated Curium branded HUB to support all aspect of Curium’s business model.
