Director – M&A / Corporate Development – Healthcare & Medtech

About the Company









Everet Marsh is supporting a leading private equity-backed healthcare platform with the appointment of a senior M&A / Corporate Development professional. This is a highly execution-focused role supporting an active European buy-and-build strategy across healthcare, MedTech and adjacent sectors.









About the Role









The successful candidate will take ownership of transactions across the full deal lifecycle, from market mapping and target identification through valuation, due diligence, negotiation, signing and post-acquisition integration. The position would suit an experienced M&A professional who combines strong transaction execution with commercial judgement and is comfortable working closely with senior management, investors and portfolio company leadership teams.









Responsibilities










- Originate and assess acquisition opportunities across healthcare and MedTech
- Build and maintain target pipelines across priority European markets
- Lead financial analysis, valuation and transaction modelling
- Manage commercial, financial, legal and operational due diligence workstreams
- Prepare investment cases and recommendations for senior management and shareholders
- Lead negotiations with founders, shareholders, advisers and counterparties
- Manage transactions from initial approach through signing and completion
- Coordinate acquisition financing where required
- Support post-merger integration and value-creation initiatives
- Monitor portfolio KPIs and acquisition performance
- Work closely with the CEO, CFO, investors and operating teams
- Support broader corporate strategy and expansion initiatives










Qualifications










- Approximately 10+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong track record in M&A, corporate development, investment banking or private equity
- Direct healthcare, MedTech, medical devices or healthcare services exposure strongly preferred
- Demonstrable experience executing buy-side transactions
- Strong understanding of valuation, financial modelling and deal structuring
- Experience coordinating multi-party due diligence processes
- Strong commercial judgement and ability to assess strategic fit
- Comfortable interacting with founders, boards, investors and senior executives
- Experience with buy-and-build strategies highly advantageous
- Exposure to post-merger integration or portfolio value creation beneficial
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent English required
- Additional European languages advantageous

Pay range and compensation package









Competitive base salary + bonus. Compensation dependent on experience.
