Director, Lead MSL - Oncology is a key leadership role that merges scientific expertise with strategic brand initiatives to ensure the successful delivery of our commercial and emerging product portfolio. This leader will direct, coordinate, and advance the efforts of the Oncology Field Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) across the United States. You will be instrumental in implementing effective field MSL strategies that achieve clinical, strategic, and business objectives.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Developing and overseeing the field-based medical strategy focused on prostate cancer and AML.
• Leading and mentoring the Field MSL team to foster a culture of trust, collaboration, and innovation, empowering them to achieve goals and celebrate successes.
• Ensuring timely and customer-focused dissemination of clinical information regarding our pipeline and marketed products.
• Building relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and engaging them strategically in key therapeutic areas.
• Creating a customer-centric regional engagement plan to support Medical Affairs objectives.
• Documenting healthcare professional interactions accurately in the CRM system.
• Gathering and sharing critical insights with Medical Affairs and internal stakeholders promptly.
• Participating in the development and implementation of systems to support departmental initiatives.
• Mentoring and evaluating MSL performance to maximize the team’s impact.
• Supervising regional territory and key account plans to align with clinical positioning and product line strategies.
• Providing clinical support for commercial training, marketing initiatives, and professional services.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of prostate cancer and hematology, including treatment strategies and competitive landscapes.
• Promoting effective communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams and adhering to compliance guidelines.
• Ensuring team compliance with regulatory guidelines while disseminating scientific information.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align medical perspectives with commercial strategies.
• Conducting performance reviews and providing actionable feedback based on customer interactions and metrics.
• Championing the regional field teams by enhancing collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Essential qualifications include:
• Advanced degree in medical science (e.g., MD, PharmD, PhD) in a relevant field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant industry experience, preferably with a background in pharmaceutical field-based roles or managing MSLs.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of oncology clinical issues, particularly in prostate cancer and hematology.
• Preferred experience in patient care within oncology or hematology subspecialties.
• Solid understanding of product lifecycle and ability to engage effectively with key decision-makers.
• Exceptional communication skills and adeptness at relationship building.
• Proven leadership experience managing large teams and coordinating regional goals.
• Ability to make timely decisions under pressure with limited information.
• Strong organizational skills to manage priorities and expectations effectively.
• Willingness to travel 50% or more as necessary.

The base salary for this role ranges from $199,800.00 to $249,800.00. Total compensation may vary based on factors such as candidates' experience and skills.
