Job Description
The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is embarking on one of the most ambitious cancer care expansions in the nation – and we are seeking an exceptional marketing leader to help bring that vision to life.
We are recruiting a senior leader to drive integrated marketing for Oncology, supporting MUSC Hollings Cancer Center during a period of unprecedented growth and transformation.
As the state’s only National Cancer Institute–designated cancer center, Hollings is home to groundbreaking research, innovative clinical trials, and leaders in complex cancer care. Your work will help elevate programs and discoveries that impact patients across our region.
MUSC is advancing plans for new state-of-the-art comprehensive cancer hospital in downtown Charleston, designed to centralize care, expand access to advanced treatments, and accelerate research—while anchoring a broader statewide cancer network with new facilities currently planned and opening across South Carolina.
This role will be instrumental in shaping how MUSC tells its oncology story—translating innovation in clinical care, research, and access into compelling campaigns that drive awareness, growth, and impact.
If you’re a strategic marketing leader who thrives on building bold, integrated campaigns—and wants to play a meaningful role in transforming cancer care across South Carolina—we want to connect.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field, with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Master’s degree (MBA, MHA, or equivalent) preferred.
• Experience leading integrated marketing for a complex clinical service line strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, build consensus across diverse stakeholder groups, and manage complex campaigns.
• Experience in a university, academic health system, health system or integrated service delivery network environment preferred.
