Our modern Tempe office equips our team with advanced diagnostic technology, soft-tissue laser equipment, and a warm, low-stress environment where every team member is valued and supported.Position SummaryAs our Dental Hygienist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional preventive care, periodontal therapy, and oral health education. Partnering directly with Dr. Greding, Dr. Heyrend, and our skilled support staff, you will utilize modern hygiene protocols and laser therapy to help emergency and routine patients transition into optimal long-term oral health.Key ResponsibilitiesComprehensive Hygiene Care: Perform adult and pediatric prophylaxis, deep scaling and root planing (SRP), and full-mouth debridement with a gentle, thorough approach.Soft-Tissue Laser Therapy: Administer laser periodontal therapy and laser-assisted decontamination in accordance with Arizona guidelines and office protocols.Periodontal Screening & Diagnostics: Conduct detailed periodontal evaluations, review medical histories, measure probing depths, and perform oral cancer screenings.Digital Radiography: Capture crisp, low-radiation digital X-rays and intraoral images to support doctor diagnostics and treatment planning.Patient Education & Case Acceptance: Educate patients on home care regimens, periodontal health, and the importance of routine maintenance following urgent or restorative treatments.Safety & Compliance: Maintain immaculate operatory sanitation and sterilization adhering strictly to OSHA, CDC, and HIPAA standards.Qualifications & RequirementsActive Arizona Dental Hygienist License: Current, unencumbered license issued by the Arizona State Board of Dental Examiners (required).Laser Certification: Active Arizona Dental Laser Certification (required prior to start date).CPR/BLS Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification for healthcare providers (required).Anesthesia & N2O Credentials: Arizona Local Anesthesia Certification and Nitrous Oxide Analgesia Certification (preferred).Clinical Expertise: 1+ years of experience with strong proficiency in periodontal disease identification, SRP execution, and soft-tissue therapy, paired with a reassuring chairside manner.Why You'll Love Working With UsTop-Tier Hourly Pay: $52.00 – $55.00/hour depending on experience.Dual Bonus Potential: Eligible for both Monthly Team Performance Bonuses and Monthly Hygiene Incentive Bonuses!Predictable Schedule: Part-time schedule (Wednesdays & Fridays, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) with no weekends.Modern Practice Environment: Work with digital radiography, laser technology, and streamlined electronic charting.Rewarding Team Culture: Be part of a practice in Tempe renowned for removing patient anxiety and making a meaningful impact every day.Ready to Join Our Team?
