Cytotechnologist – Full Time
Medford, OR
Day Shift | Hospital Laboratory Setting
A highly respected hospital laboratory in Medford, Oregon is seeking a skilled and motivated Cytotechnologist to join their team. This is a full-time position offering a consistent schedule, excellent benefits, and the opportunity to work in a collaborative and quality-focused environment.
Position Highlights:
• Full-time, permanent position

• Day shift schedule (Monday–Friday)

• Hospital-based lab with a broad case mix

Key Responsibilities:
• Screen and interpret gynecologic and non-gynecologic cytology specimens

• Collaborate with pathologists for final diagnosis and reporting

• Maintain high standards for quality control and compliance

• Participate in continuing education and cytology proficiency testing

• Accurately document findings and adhere to lab safety protocols

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree and completion of an accredited Cytotechnology program

• ASCP (CT) certification required

• Oregon Cytotechnologist License or eligibility required

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to diagnostic accuracy

• Excellent organizational and communication skills
