Job Title: Cytotechnologist (Onsite)

Location: VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System – University Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15240

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform cytological evaluations of gynecological and non-gynecological specimens
• Document findings in accordance with VA and ASCP standards
• Participate in quality assurance, improvement initiatives, and staff meetings
• Maintain patient safety and confidentiality
• Report abnormal findings in alignment with VHA Directive 1088
• Meet all continuing education, training, and certification requirements

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited program (Diploma, Associate Degree, or higher)
• Active ASCP Cytotechnologist certification
• Successful completion of PAP proficiency testing within the last 12 months
• Current, unrestricted license to practice in any U.S. state or territory
