Cytotechnologist A healthcare organization is seeking a Cytotechnologist to join their laboratory team on a full-time permanent basis. Position Details: Full-time permanent position Day, evening, or rotating shift opportunities may be available Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package Supportive pathology and laboratory team environment Opportunities for professional growth and advancement Responsibilities: Examine and evaluate cytology specimens for abnormal cellular changes Screen gynecological and non-gynecological specimens Prepare and stain cytology slides according to laboratory protocols Accurately document findings and maintain laboratory records Ensure compliance with laboratory quality assurance and safety standards Collaborate with pathologists and healthcare providers to support accurate diagnoses Requirements: CT (ASCP) certification preferred or required for many positions Bachelor’s degree in Cytotechnology or related laboratory science field Previous cytology experience preferred Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced laboratory setting Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply for immediate consideration.
