Job Description


Aya Locums is seeking a CRNA for an ongoing locums assignment with a busy outpatient gastroenterology and ambulatory surgery practice in Jacksonville, NC.

Assignment Highlights

- Location: Jacksonville, NC
- Start Date: August 2026
- Length: Ongoing (3-6+ months)
- Position Type: Locum Tenens (1099)
- Schedule: Monday-Friday
- Hours: Typically 6:45 AM start, procedures begin 7:00-7:30 AM
- Typical End Time: 2:00 PM-3:30 PM (occasionally later)
- Call: None


Compensation

- $1,400 per day
- All-inclusive rate
- No call responsibilities


Practice Details

- Ambulatory Surgery Center / Office-Based Anesthesia
- Gastroenterology & Non-Surgical Weight Loss practice
- Collaborative physician-led environment
- Support staff includes RNs, LPNs, and Medical Assistants
- Fast-paced procedural setting
- EMR: gGastro (GMED)


Clinical Responsibilities

- GI sedation cases
- General anesthesia
- EGD procedures
- Colonoscopies
- Non-surgical weight loss procedures
- Gastric sleeve procedures


Volume & Patient Population

- Up to 17-24 patients per day
- Patients typically range from ages 16-80


Preferred Experience

- Gastroenterology anesthesia
- Ambulatory surgery center (ASC) experience
- Office-based anesthesia experience


Additional Details

- Ongoing need with long-term potential
- Credentialing can be completed in approximately 1 week or less
- Preference for providers willing to occasionally float to a secondary location in Kinston, NC (approximately 45 minutes away)
