Watts & Associates is working discreetly with a highly regarded AM Law 50 law firm seeking a Corporate – Life Sciences Transactions Associate to join its San Francisco, CA office.
This opportunity offers broad exposure to sophisticated corporate work for public and private life sciences companies and investment funds. The associate will work across capital markets, venture financings, SEC reporting and M&A, with a platform designed to support continued professional growth.

The Role
The successful attorney will support and lead key components of the practice, including:
- Advise on public capital markets offerings, including IPOs and follow-on offerings.
- Support private offerings, including PIPE and venture capital financings.
- Assist with periodic securities reporting and related public-company matters.
- Work on public and private company M&A, including structured transactions.
- Coordinate corporate transaction execution across multidisciplinary teams.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The firm is seeking a Corporate – Life Sciences Transactions Associate with:
- Law school class year 2018–2022.
- Substantial corporate transactional experience involving life sciences companies or investment funds.
- Experience with public capital markets, private financings, securities reporting and M&A.
- California bar admission, or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.
Compensation and Benefits
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $260,000–$420,000, depending on experience, qualifications and other relevant factors.
