Corporate Development Associate

We are currently partnered with a leading Houston-based company looking to add a Corporate Development Associate to their growing team. This Corporate Development Associate will have the opportunity to work directly alongside senior leadership on strategic initiatives, acquisitions, and growth opportunities. The team is highly acquisitive and offers significant exposure to buy-side M&A execution, financial analysis, and corporate strategy, providing a strong foundation for long-term career growth.



Corporate Development Associate will be responsible for:


- Supporting the evaluation and execution of buy-side M&A transactions from initial diligence through closing.
- Preparing and delivering presentations, investment memos, and strategic analyses for executive leadership.
- Assisting in the coordination of internal and external resources throughout the due diligence process.
- Building and maintaining detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and transaction materials.
- Conducting extensive industry, market, competitive, and company-specific research.
- Identifying and evaluating potential acquisition targets and strategic opportunities.
- Partnering with finance, operations, legal, and business unit leaders to assess transaction opportunities and integration initiatives.
- Monitoring industry trends and supporting long-term strategic planning efforts.




Corporate Development Associate should have the following qualifications:


- 1-2 years of Investment Banking experience required.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Strong financial modeling and valuation experience.
- Exposure to M&A transactions and due diligence processes.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, transaction-oriented environment.
