Data Scientist I/II (Part Time)

Onsite, Boston, MA (Local Candidates Only)





Responsibilities:


- Work closely with biologists and scientists to set up, configure, and troubleshoot Dotmatics protocols and workflows.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide technical support for Dotmatics and scientific data workflows.
- Optimize Oracle database performance, including SQL queries and database processes.
- Develop applications, tools, and data solutions for Chemistry and Biology teams.
- Use SQL, R, and/or Python to analyze and manage scientific data.
- Collaborate with scientific and technical teams to understand requirements and develop practical solutions.
- Support improvements to laboratory data workflows, reporting, and data accessibility






Requirements:


- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related field preferred
- Experience with Dotmatics or a related Dotmatics product.
- Strong SQL and Oracle database experience.
- Proficiency in R and/or Python.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
