Job Description
The OHSU Knight Cancer Institute's Community Hematology Oncology (CHO) clinics are seeking a Hematologist/Medical Oncologist to join their growing team. This position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive hematology and general oncology care within a community-based setting. The successful candidate will benefit from the resources and expertise of an NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, contributing to the university's missions of patient care, teaching, research, outreach, and public service.

• Community-based setting within the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute's Community Hematology Oncology (CHO) clinics
• Part of an NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center
• Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology comprises specialists dedicated to providing care for patients with cancer and blood disorders
• Locations include Portland Metro-East, Tualatin, and Gresham Community Hematology Oncology clinics
Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive hematology and general oncology care
• Provide services as assigned by the supervisor to further the university's missions and goals of teaching, research, patient care, outreach, and public service
• Care for patients with hematologic and oncologic disease at the CHO OHSU Knight Cancer Institute clinics
• Participate with other Division and CHO staff and provider teams as needed
• Participate in administrative committees and councils of OHSU, Legacy, and other community partners as approved by the Division Head and Section Chief
• Engage in public service through consultative activities with non-university groups with the knowledge and consent of the Division Head and Section Chief
• Participate, as desired, in the education of medical students and house staff
• Assure that every patient has an opportunity to be considered for a clinical trial
Compensation
• Salary Range: $447,926 - $497,696
• Rate will be determined based on education, experience, and internal equity
• Recruitment Incentive: Relocation and Hiring Bonus

Requirements
• MD, MD/PhD, DO, MBBS, MBBCh
• Medical oncologist/hematologist licensed to practice medicine in Oregon
• Board certified/board eligible in medical oncology/hematology
• Desire to practice in a community-based clinical environment as part of an academic health care system
• Preferred: Physician leadership experience demonstrates the background, focus, and drive to excel, as well as the ability to provide excellent clinical care to cancer patients in the community setting
