Summary
Position Highlights
Under the direction of the Physician Director of Clinical Trials Outreach, the Clinical Trials Outreach Program Manager provides high level general support for all activities as part of Moffitt’s Community Outreach and Engagement - Reaching and Engaging Special Populations to Expand Clinical Trials (COE-RESPECT) initiative.
The role focuses specifically on outreach activities directly tied to clinical trials awareness, access, enrollment, and retention and complements broader community outreach and education efforts and strategic clinical trial initiative at the center.
This position works with key internal and external stakeholders to develop and maintain effective infrastructure and planning to support ongoing, bidirectional communication, informed decision making, ongoing research engagement, and reduction of barriers to inclusiveness in Moffitt’s Clinical Trials Portfolio.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate brings experience in research program planning, project management, and administration in an academic or community setting. They demonstrate strong planning, organizational, communication, and customer service skills, and a service-oriented, consensus-building approach to problem solving.
Responsibilities
• Support planning and implementation of COE-RESPECT outreach initiatives
• Develop and maintain infrastructure to support clinical trial enrollment
• Build strategic relationships with community partners and providers to increase participation
• Collaborate with internal teams and community providers to increase awareness of clinical trials
• Conduct community outreach education efforts in catchment communities
• Coordinate feedback mechanisms between providers, patients, and research teams to identify barriers
• Prepare reports, presentations, and summary updates for stakeholders
• Develop and manage communication plans for outreach activities
• Track strategic plan milestones, deliverables, and progress
• Support alignment of the clinical trials portfolio to community needs
• Support initiatives to improve enrollment of underserved and underrepresented populations
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Social Science, Business Administration, or related field
• Bachelor’s degree with six (6) years OR Master’s degree with four (4) years of experience in research program planning, project management, and administration in an academic or community setting
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
• Strong planning and organizational skills with ability to deliver projects on time and within scope
• Strong customer service skills with knowledge of conflict management techniques
• Service-oriented with a consensus-building approach to problem solving
Preferred Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Social Science, Business Administration, or related field
• Experience engaging in or facilitating community outreach activities
• Experience in an academic cancer center with strategic partnership development exposure
• Knowledge and experience with program management
• Knowledge and experience in clinical trials outreach and education
• Familiarity with clinical trial workflows, accrual benchmarks, and participation barriers

Salary Range
$75,153.00 - $114,701.60
Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role. Actual compensation may vary based on location and a variety of job-related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among Team Members in similar positions.
