Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Operations Manager for the Clinical Trials Office to lead oncology clinical trial operations in Miami-Dade / Broward County, FL. This role is ideal for experienced clinical research professionals with a strong background in oncology trials and a passion for driving operational excellence in a dynamic research environment.

As the Operations Manager, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of oncology clinical trials, from study activation to closeout, with a focus on the Phase I Pediatric Oncology Unit. This position offers a unique opportunity to manage research staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with key stakeholders to advance pediatric oncology research.

Schedule & Shift

• Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

• On-Site, Full-Time

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Manage and lead clinical research coordinators and research operations staff

• Oversee clinical trial execution from startup through study closeout

• Evaluate the feasibility of new studies and support study activation

• Ensure compliance with GCP, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements

• Monitor enrollment targets and recruitment performance

• Maintain CTMS accuracy and study tracking

• Collaborate with physicians, investigators, sponsors, and stakeholders

• Develop workflows, SOPs, and operational processes

• Ensure timely data entry, adverse event reporting, and protocol compliance

• Mentor and develop research personnel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent clinical research experience

• 4–7 years of clinical research experience within Academic Medical Centers, Hospitals, CROs, Pharmaceutical Companies, or Medical Device Companies

• 2–4 years of leadership or management experience supervising research teams

• Strong knowledge of CTMS and e-Regulatory systems

• Experience with research compliance, GCP, protocol management, and regulatory requirements

• Master's Degree preferred
