Role Description This is a full-time hybrid Clinical Therapist role based in Salt Lake City, UT, with three days 9-5 (flexible) at our adult residential program and two evenings 1-9 at our Redwood IOP . The Clinical Therapist provides individual, group, and family therapy to clients with substance use and co-occurring mental health concerns. Daily responsibilities include completing ASAM funding requests, developing treatment plans, documenting clinical services, and coordinating care with internal teams and external partners. The role involves collaborating for ongoing case management, crisis intervention as needed, and participation in multidisciplinary team meetings. The Clinical Therapist also supports program development by offering clinical input, maintaining adherence to evidence-based practices, and contributing to a trauma-informed, recovery-focused environment.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Social Work and Case Management, including assessment, treatment planning, and resource coordination.
- Strong foundation in Psychology and Mental Health, with the ability to apply evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Relevant professional licensure or eligibility (e.g., LCSW, CSW, LMFT, ACMHC, or equivalent) in the state of Utah.
- Experience working in addiction treatment or behavioral health settings, preferably with diverse and underserved populations.
- Effective communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to ethical practice, cultural humility, and trauma-informed, client-centered care.
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field.
