Job Description
Position Summary The Speech, Language, Hearing Sciences ( SLHS ) program of Metropolitan State University of Denver seeks a speech-language pathologist ( SLP ) to be part-time clinical instructor. This is an HOURLY position with no benefits@ four hours a week. This is a pooled position.
The University is particularly interested in applicants who have experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and a demonstrated commitment to improving access to higher education for under-represented groups.

Required Qualifications a) Master’s degree in speech-language pathology, b) Certification from American Speech, Language, Hearing Association, and c) clinical experience with English language learners.
Preferred Qualifications
At least 4 months of experience mentoring students and/or novice speech language pathologist ( SLP ) students.
Experience working with and sensitivity to the needs of a diverse urban student population including (but not limited to) students of color, LBGTQIA students, students from low-income backgrounds, first-generation students, students with disabilities, undocumented students, non-traditional students, student veterans, and English-language learners.
