Clinical Sales Representative – Cardiac Electrophysiology
Territory: Northeastern United States
Our client is a specialist medical device company focused on cardiac electrophysiology (EP) recording and stimulation systems used in the diagnosis and treatment of complex arrhythmias. They are looking to add a Clinical Sales Representative to support their growing footprint across the Northeast US, working closely with EP labs, cath labs, and physician teams.
The Role
The Clinical Sales Representative will provide clinical and technical support during EP procedures, drive adoption and utilization of the company's recording systems and capital equipment within assigned accounts, and act as the day-to-day point of contact for hospital and lab staff. This is a field-based, procedure-heavy role suited to someone comfortable working independently across a multi-account territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver in-lab clinical support during EP procedures (mapping, ablation, and diagnostic cases)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with electrophysiologists, EP lab staff, and hospital administration
- Drive product utilization and identify opportunities for account growth within an existing customer base
- Support capital equipment placements and any associated evaluations or trials
- Provide product training and troubleshooting support to clinical staff
- Collaborate with sales leadership on territory strategy and account planning
- Maintain compliance with hospital credentialing, vendor requirements, and company policies
Candidate Profile
- Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) experience strongly preferred - candidates with a background in pacemakers, ICDs, or related CRM device sales/clinical support will be prioritized
- Prior experience in EP or a related cardiovascular device field (clinical specialist, sales, or field clinical role) also considered
- Comfortable in the EP lab environment; strong procedural knowledge a plus
- Self-starter who can manage a territory independently
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Willingness to travel within the Northeast territory as required
- Based in or able to relocate to the Northeast US
