JOB DESCRIPTION
Medical Oncology Associates of San Diego (MOASD) is a proud partner of One Oncology's network of the nation's leading oncology practices.
We are seeking a highly‑motivated Clinical Research Coordinator to support community oncologists and patients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work independently to coordinate studies, including screening patients for protocol eligibility, presenting trial concepts, and participating in the informed consent process.
• Maintain accurate source documents and perform data collection, documentation, entry, and reporting, responding promptly to sponsor queries.
• Compile and report on protocol activity, accrual data, workload, and other research information; present findings at regular research staff meetings.
• Plan and implement strategies to increase patient enrollment, improve efficiency, and identify new research opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with federal and local agencies (FDA, IRB) and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
• Schedule patients for research visits and procedures; document clinical events on Case Report Forms (CRFs).
• Participate in monitoring, auditing, and submission of adverse events, serious adverse events, protocol deviations, and safety letters to the IRB.
• Assist with patient research billing and reimbursement reconciliation.
• Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Coordinate training and education of study personnel and support development of quality improvement action plans.
QUALIFICATIONS
Educational Requirements: BA/BS degree.
Preferred ACRP/SoCRA (or equivalent) certification.
Experience: At least 1 year of clinical research coordination experience.
POSITION DETAILS
Job Type: Full‑time
Compensation: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
Schedule: 8‑hour shift, in person
