Job Description
Clinical Research Coordinator II – Oncology
Ability to travel between McHenry, Huntley, and Lake Forest Sites
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in health science, biological science, nursing, or related field
MUST HAVE 3+ years of clinical research experience
MUST HAVE phlebotomy, EKGs, vitals, and specimen processing experience
MUST HAVE experience with:
• Patient recruitment and enrollment
• Study protocols
• EMR and EDC systems
• Sponsor or investigator-initiated studies
• Oncology clinical trial experience
• Experience working directly with sponsors and monitors
• Knowledge of FDA regulations, ICH-GCP, and IRB processes
• CCRC, CCRP, SOCRA, or similar certification
Responsibilities
• Coordinate clinical trials in compliance with protocols, GCP, HIPAA, FDA regulations, and institutional policies
• Screen, recruit, consent, and enroll study participants
• Schedule study visits and coordinate research procedures, testing, and follow-up activities
• Serve as the primary contact for patients, sponsors, and study teams
• Maintain source documentation, regulatory files, and study records
• Enter and manage data in EDC systems and institutional databases
• Monitor patient safety and report adverse events as required
• Support sponsor monitoring visits, audits, and inspections
• Track enrollment, study milestones, and protocol compliance
• Collaborate with investigators and clinic teams to successfully implement and manage studies

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of McHenry, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $35.00/hr.
