We are seeking a Clinical Pharmacist in Oncology to:
Provide comprehensive medication management for patients receiving cancer therapy, collaborating with the multidisciplinary oncology care team to optimize treatment outcomes.
Deliver individualized patient and caregiver education on anticancer therapies, including treatment expectations, administration, adherence, toxicity monitoring, and self-management strategies.
Provide evidence-based supportive care management and education for symptom prevention and treatment, including nausea/vomiting, pain, infection risk, and other treatment-related adverse effects.
Practice through delegation protocols to manage chemotherapy induced nausea and vomiting, electrolyte imbalance, potential chemotherapy toxicities, and achieve therapeutic drug levels.
Serve as a preceptor, mentor, and educator for pharmacy students, residents, and other learners, fostering progressive development of clinical knowledge, critical thinking, and professional skills in oncology practice.
Ensure appropriate utilization of medications to optimize patient outcomes.
