Clinical Nurse Oncology Solid Tumors

Responsibilities

Provide direct oncology nursing care to patients with solid tumors across the continuum of care
Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and supportive medications safely per protocols
Perform comprehensive assessments, monitor treatment responses, and manage side effects
Educate patients and families on disease processes, treatment plans, and symptom management
Coordinate care with physicians, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary team members
Document care, assessments, and interventions accurately in the electronic health record
Adhere to evidence-based oncology nursing standards and infection prevention practices
Participate in quality improvement, safety initiatives, and unit-based projects
Support clinical trials and research-related protocols as appropriate
Precept and mentor new nurses and support a culture of learning and collaboration
