Clinical Nurse Coordinator RN Oncology

Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients across treatment cycles.
• Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, and supportive infusions per established protocols.
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status, lab values, and treatment responses.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, side effects, and symptom management.
• Collaborate with oncologists, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize care.
• Advocate for patient safety, comfort, and psychosocial support throughout the cancer journey.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records and follow regulatory and facility standards.
• Participate in quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives.
• Ensure proper handling of hazardous drugs and adherence to infection prevention protocols.
