Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Director / MD or DO to lead our healthcare team with passion and precision. Preference will be given to veterans who bring a strong sense of discipline, leadership, and dedication to Veteran care. In this pivotal role, you will oversee clinical operations, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and drive initiatives that enhance patient outcomes. Your expertise will help shape the future of our healthcare services, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and compassionate care.
Duties
• Clinical Director / MD or DO Physician will
• review patient records and other information and provide guidance to Company on any identified issues.
• Physician will evaluate Company’s practices from a medical perspective and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Physician will assist in reviewing and offering suggestions to the plan of care for customers of Company.
• Physician will be available during normal hours, except for planned vacations and conferences, to answer questions and provide guidance to Company’s personnel.
• Physician will provide 3 weeks’ notice of planned vacations.
• Physician will update Company concerning recent health care developments that, in the Physician’s opinion, will be beneficial to Company’s customers.
• Upon request, Physician will provide the following Services:
• Review 10% of the closed encounter.
• Be available to mid-levels to answer questions or give guidance
• Delegate authority and oversight of Medical Assistants to perform PIR as they are trained
• Physician will assist in the development and review of quality assurance policies, standards, and criteria.
• Stay up to date with PIR guidelines and training
• Physician will assist Company in complying with state and federal regulations.
• Company will cover all costs at PIR training and updates including travel expenses.
• Qualifications
• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution with active licensure in relevant jurisdiction.
• Proven experience in hospital or clinical settings with supervisory or managerial responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of managed care models, utilization management, and healthcare management principles.
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology knowledge essential for effective patient care delivery.
• Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Excellent leadership skills with a track record of supervising teams, fostering collaboration, and driving organizational success.
Pay: $180,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year
