Clinical Data Entry Specialist – ONCOLOGY CLINICAL RESEARCH HIGHLIGHTS • $24.00–$29.00 per hour, depending on experience + full benefits package (15 days PTO + 10 company holidays + health/dental/vision + 4% 401(k) match

• Strong long-term career growth potential as the organization continues expanding nationwide COMPANY Our client is a rapidly growing clinical research organization with more than 30 sites across 10+ states and continued expansion planned in 2026 and beyond. This position supports one of its oncology-focused clinical research locations in Century City. The organization offers an entrepreneurial, fast-moving environment with significant opportunities for employees to grow as the company continues to scale.
POSITION Our client is seeking a Data Entry Clerk to support clinical trial data management for its oncology research team. This position is responsible for accurately entering and reviewing clinical and patient information within electronic data systems while ensuring information matches source documentation. The hiring team is especially interested in candidates who have previous oncology experience and understand the terminology, documentation, and workflows associated with oncology care or research.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Enter clinical trial and patient data into electronic data capture systems, clinical databases, and case report forms
• Review entered information against medical records and source documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Identify data discrepancies and assist with resolving queries or missing information
• Work with research coordinators, clinical staff, and physicians to retrieve or correct information when needed
• Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential patient records in accordance with HIPAA, GCP, and research requirements
• Prepare and maintain complete records to support internal reviews, sponsor requests, and clinical research audits QUALIFICATIONS
• 1–3+ years of data entry experience, ideally within oncology, clinical research, healthcare, or a medical setting
• Oncology experience is strongly preferred, including experience working with oncology patient records, clinical documentation, or oncology research data
• Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records, and clinical documentation
• Experience using EHR/EMR systems, electronic data capture platforms, or other clinical research databases
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while completing high-volume, repetitive work
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in healthcare, health information, medical assisting, or a related field is preferred
