Travel Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) - Outpatient Infusion Clinic | Rosedale, MD (13-week)

Travel Oncology RN - 13-week outpatient infusion assignment in Rosedale, MD (Baltimore area). Competitive weekly pay $1940-$2050. Join our outpatient oncology team providing compassionate chemotherapy, biotherapy, and infusion care to adult and geriatric patients.

Assignment Details
• Location: Rosedale, Maryland 21237 (Baltimore area)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: January 27, 2026 - End: April 28, 2026)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1940 - $2050
• Role: Travel Oncology Registered Nurse / Outpatient Oncology RN / Infusion Nurse
• Setting: Outpatient Oncology Clinic (Infusion Center)
• Shift: Day shift, 5x8-hour days (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM), 40 hours/week
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
• Daily Census: Approximately 65 patients
• Orientation: 48 hours
• Flu Vaccine: Required (no exemptions)
Required Qualifications • Minimum 2 years of recent oncology nursing experience (travel RN experience required)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland or compact state
• BLS certification (AHA)
• ONS / ONCC Chemotherapy and Biotherapy certification
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR (electronic charting)
• Experience in infusion centers and outpatient oncology settings (chemo/biotherapy administration)
• Competent in port, central line, and PICC line care and management
• Two supervisor references required
• Current flu vaccine required prior to start
Key Responsibilities • Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, and IV infusions safely and according to facility protocols
• Function as an infusion nurse in an outpatient oncology clinic, monitoring patients during and after treatment
• Recognize and manage oncologic emergencies and treatment-related side effects
• Assess and care for ports, central lines, and PICC lines; troubleshoot infusion-related issues
• Provide patient and family education on chemotherapy, side-effect management, symptom reporting, and follow-up care
• Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including pharmacy, social work, and IV teams
• Document all nursing care accurately and efficiently using Cerner EMR
• Participate in orientation, required training modules, and unit-based competencies
